Russian-Belarusian sports competitions opened in Bryansk

The first annual sports festival between the teams of Termotron-Zavod LLC and Gomel Electrotechnical Plant JSC opened on the territory of the Bryansk enterprise on Friday, September 19. Four teams are fighting for victory in the international competition - two from each plant.
The Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Physical Culture and Sports Oleg Matytsin attended the opening ceremony. "I am very pleased to feel the energy of people who are essentially one team here," said Oleg Vasilyevich, welcoming the audience. — Of course, you will compete, but you are united by your pride in your companies, in our countries, and in our presidents, who set an example of how a captain should lead his team to our common victory. I would like to thank you for demonstrating your love for your companies, your love for a healthy lifestyle, and your love for sports in the difficult conditions that our countries face. I wish all of us to achieve these goals.
Anton Abushenko, General Director of Termotron-Zavod LLC, also spoke about the importance of the festival as a unifying force for the two factories: "Since the beginning of this year, we have become one team. Two large and experienced manufacturing enterprises have come together. We are learning to work together, design and produce new products, and explore new markets. We are learning from each other and adopting the best practices. I am pleased that our internal, inter-factory competitions are now international in nature. The main goal of this festival is to make friends and set goals for future collaboration. I wish everyone success and, of course, a lot of fun. Let the strongest one win!"
On the first day, there were competitions in table tennis, long jump, push-ups, lying body lifts, and darts, as well as a relay race. The festival will continue on Saturday at the Bryansk Sports and Recreation Complex.
