Modernization of the Tram System in Saratov
Termotron is involved in a major infrastructure project
The project to upgrade the city's electric transport is being implemented in Saratov. It includes the reconstruction of four tram lines with a total length of 67 km, the renovation of 11 traction substations, and the construction of a railway overpass. The updated routes 6, 8, and 9 have already been launched. The longest route, 3, is currently under active implementation.
Termotron-Zavod LLC has already supplied 12 automated systems for controlling tram switches to various facilities. They are designed to control the parameters of switch movements with remote control capabilities.
"We offer our partners not just a switch drive, but an entire system that allows the tram driver to remotely transmit information about the switch's status, control the switch via a radio channel from the vehicle's cabin, and automatically switch the switches according to the approaching tram's route," says Anton Abushenko, General Director of Termotron-Zavod LLC. "In addition, as a manufacturer, we offer maintenance services for our equipment. This allows public transportation companies to save on training technical personnel."
