New PASH-2 barriers have been installed at three crossings of the country

New PASH-2 barriers have been installed at three crossings of the country. One of the main features of the new model is the implementation of a timber integrity control system in it. In case of damage to the barrier due to an emergency or vandal attack, a signal will be sent to the station on duty at the station to which this crossing is assigned. This will allow measures to be taken to limit the speed of trains on the site. The introduction of this technology will make it possible in the future to use PASH-2 barriers at unguarded crossings without a duty officer.

"In early autumn, work began on the installation and commissioning of our new PASH-2 barriers at three Russian railway facilities," said Sergey Davydov, Chief Engineer of the enterprise. — First of all, this is an object located next to the plant — moving to the Maltsevskaya station in Bryansk. The second is a transfer to the Zagoryanskaya station of the Moscow Railway near the city of Korolev. And the third is the crossing at Gagarinsky station in the city of Chudovo on the Oktyabrskaya railway. All installed barriers are working successfully."

According to Sergey Vladimirovich, the move to Maltsevskaya plays a special role in the history of the plant: "In the 90s, the first prototype of the PASH-1 barrier was installed at this place. After the successful completion of the pilot operation, the plant began mass production of these products. Today, 95% of all crossings in the country are equipped with our barriers. It is especially pleasant that it was here that we replaced the first sample of PASH-1 with the first sample of PASH-2."

"Putting our new barriers into trial operation is an interim result of a lot of work," said Anton Abushenko, General Director of Thermotron—Zavod LLC. — It is symbolic that this happened at the nearest relocation to the enterprise. Many factory workers on their way to work or pass through Maltsevskaya and observe the results of their work daily. I am sure that the PASH-2 will be no less famous in the country and abroad than its predecessor."
