Thermotron took part in TransportFest
The 7th International TransportFest Festival was held in St. Petersburg as part of the City Day celebrations. The main events of the festival took place on Manezhnaya Square and the streets adjacent to it. St. Petersburg residents and visitors were treated to an exhibition of transport industry innovations, a parade of retro vehicles, song performances, and a final gala concert, while industry professionals enjoyed a rich business program.
Termotron-Zavod LLC presented its developments for tram infrastructure at the event. At the exhibition, visitors could see a prototype of the first domestic electric drive for SPT tram switches, an automated control system cabinet, series and shunt contacts, and a route and track indicator.
At the seminar "Upper Structure of Urban Rail Transport Tracks," which focused on a comprehensive solution for the development of urban street and off-street rail transport, Roman Badeev, the company's chief engineer, presented his findings. He spoke about the automated switch control system, which allows for real-time monitoring of track conditions and prompt response to emergencies.
