A table tennis tournament was held at Termotron
The first friendly table tennis tournament among employees of the city's industrial enterprises was held at Termotron-Zavod LLC on Saturday, November 1. The following companies sent their representatives to the competition: Snezhet Plant JSC, BMZ Management Company JSC, Bryansk Chemical Plant named after the 50th Anniversary of the USSR, Turboremont Plant Branch of Gazenergoservis JSC, Bryansk Automobile Plant JSC, Bryansk Pivo JSC, and Kremniy EL Group JSC. The participation of employees of the Gomel Electrotechnical Plant gave the tournament an international status.
The competition was opened by Grigory Sadovsky, an honorary guest and chairman of the Youth, Family, Motherhood, and Childhood Committee of the Bryansk City Administration. "I was not expecting such a large-scale event," said Grigory Nikolaevich. "And even more so that it is international. I wish you success and congratulations on the upcoming holiday."
Welcoming the participants, Andrey Makarov, Deputy General Director of Termotron-Zavod LLC, said: "We have tried very hard to organize the tournament at a decent level. This is our first experience. If something didn't work out, please let us know, and we will take it into account next time. I wish everyone positive emotions. Let the strongest one win."
The competition was held in a personal competition among 28 men and 8 women. The tournament was judged by Elena Kovtun, a master of sports in table tennis, a participant in two Olympic Games, and a two-time gold and two-time silver medalist of the European Championships.
The best men's players were:
— 1st place — Vladimir Kantsev (BMZ Management Company JSC)
— 2nd place — Alexander Grinchuk (Silicon EL Group JSC)
— 3rd place — Igor Petrov (BMZ Management Company JSC)
Among the women, the following were awarded:
— 1st place — Anastasia Kopatko (JSC "BMZ Management Company")
— 2nd place — Svetlana Abramova (LLC "Termotron-Zavod")
— 3rd place — Valentina Nikitina (JSC "Snezhet Plant")
The winners received cups and gift sets with the logo of LLC "Termotron-Zavod".
