A memorandum on cooperation in the implementation of an investment project between Termotron-Zavod LLC and Gomel Electrotechnical Plant OJSC was signed on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on June 20. The document was signed by Alexander Bogomaz, Governor of the Bryansk Region, and Ivan Krupko, Chairman of the Gomel Executive Committee.

The memorandum on cooperation in the implementation of a joint investment project by Termotron-Zavod LLC and Gomel Electrotechnical Plant OJSC aims to localize, develop, and implement Russian advanced technologies for the railways of Russia, the Republic of Belarus, and other countries. It will also contribute to the comprehensive provision of modern security systems for railways in the Gomel region.

Last year, the Gomel Electrotechnical Plant was acquired by Termotron-Zavod. The company will become the first exclusive supplier of control systems and barriers in the Republic of Belarus. It is planned to increase the output of GETZ's commercial products by 150% and invest 135 million rubles in automation and digitalization of production, making Termotron one of the leaders in this area.

"I would like to thank the government of the Bryansk region and the Gomel executive committee for their support of our project at the regional level," said Anton Abushenko, General Director of Termotron-Zavod LLC. "I am confident that the implementation of our plans will have a positive impact on the economies of both regions."
