Electric switch mechanism SPM is designed for up-to-date switches. The electric switch mechanism design is of the unit-modular type.

The drive and power units are installed in a hollow metal beam to be mounted instead of a sleeper. Covers and inputs of the electric drive are equipped with seals protecting mechanism against dust and moisture ingress.

The SPM is designed for operation in a system of electric or dispatching centralized control of stations for train running arrangement.

Sleeper electric switch mechanism SPM enables to perform the mechanized levelling by special machines without dismantling the switch fi ttings thus reducing operational costs.

Electric switch mechanism SPM is produced in two versions:
- SPM 150 with gate stroke of 150 mm for operation without an external lock;
- SPM 220 with gate stroke of 220 mm for operation with an external lock.
