Robots in production

An industrial robot has been launched at LLC "Termotron-Zavod"

The first welding robot M20IA-30P-M-PL/1 of the Japanese company FANUC has been launched in the welding section of the frame-procurement workshop of LLC Thermotron-Zavod. Currently, it processes parts for electric switch drives.

Up to half of all industrial robots in the world are used for welding. This is not surprising, since the welding process is ideally adapted to be performed by an industrial robot: it consists of a series of repetitive movements of the same type along a predetermined trajectory.

With the advent of the robot at LLC "Termotron-Zavod", the welder's workflow has become safer and more environmentally friendly. A specialist controls the mechanism from a distance, and the robot performs operations according to a pre-written program.

"Given the high demand for our equipment, it was decided to entrust part of the welding operation to a robot," says Anton Abushenko, CEO of LLC "Termotron—Zavod". — Now he is fully loaded and frees up his human "colleagues" for other operations."
