Dear colleagues! Dear friends!

Congratulations on the 70th anniversary of the opening of the metro in the Northern Capital!

On November 15, the St. Petersburg Metro celebrates its 70th anniversary. The first line was opened in 1955. It connected the stations Avtovo and Ploshchad Vosstaniya.

Thousands of highly qualified specialists — engineers, mechanics, and tunnelers — have worked to ensure that today St. Petersburg residents and visitors can move comfortably and quickly along underground routes.
Today, the coordinated and safe operation of the extended network of 72 stations and seven electric depots is provided by the 19,000-strong staff of the St. Petersburg Metro State Unitary Enterprise. I sincerely congratulate the employees and veterans of the company on the anniversary of the metro and wish them further success, development and prosperity.

Sincerely, A.G. Abushenko, General Director of Termotron-Zavod LLC
