Minsk metro is 40 years old

Dear Vladimir Timofeevich, Dear employees of the Minsk Metro State Enterprise!

On my own behalf and on behalf of the employees of Termotron-Zavod LLC, I cordially congratulate you on the 40th anniversary of the launch of the Moscow metro!

On June 29, 1984, on the eve of the 40th anniversary of the liberation of Minsk from Nazi invaders, regular train traffic of the Minsk metro began. The first line from the Institute of Culture station to Moskovskaya station was launched. Its length was 7.84 kilometers.

Despite the serious difficulties during construction, the metro was put into operation with an overall rating of "excellent". The highest rating was given to the Minsk metro by passengers who, in the early days of its operation, wrote hundreds of thanks to the book of reviews and suggestions.

Today, the Minsk Metro has 33 stations with 55 lobbies. It is gratifying that the Minsk Metro State Enterprise and Thermotron-Zavod LLC have a long-term mutually beneficial cooperation.
