Yerevan Metro celebrates its birthday
Congratulations to the residents and guests of Yerevan on the anniversary of the creation of the metro
Congratulations to the residents and guests of Yerevan on the anniversary of the creation of the metro
Exactly 43 years ago — on March 7, 1981 — the metro opened its doors in the capital of Armenia. On this day, five stations were put into operation — Druzhba (Barekamutsiun), Marshal Baghramyan, Molodezhnaya (Yeritasardakan), Lenin Square (now Republic Square) and Sasunzi David. Later, in 1984, Shengavit station appeared, in 1986 — Garegin Nzhdeh Square, in 1989 — Zoravar Andranik, and in 1997 — Charbakh station.
We wish the employees and passengers of the Yerevan Metro trouble-free operation and the implementation of all planned plans! Happiness, good luck and health to you and your loved ones!
