80 years of the Bryansk region

Congratulations on the 80th anniversary of the formation of the Bryansk region!

The Bryansk region received the status of an independent entity in July 1944. Then a decree was issued by the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, according to which the new region was formed from 28 western districts of the Orel region "for the rapid restoration of the destroyed national economy, bringing the regional apparatus closer to the population of the districts, improving the service of workers and maximizing concrete assistance to local authorities in economic and cultural construction.

We are all rightfully proud of our region, its glorious history and modern achievements, and we believe in a decent future for our native land and its inhabitants.
